IPhone 5s or iPhone 5c?

My friend’s birthday is coming up next month and I am going to choose an iPhone as a gift for my friend but I have difficulty in choosing between IPhone 5s or iPhone 5c?
I want a phone with a good camera and has a lot of memory storage. My mother advised me should get the 5c but I heard that its made of plastic and it breaks faster. I also heard that camera of IPhone 5s is faster and better than the 5s although 5s is also really nice.
Please help me decide which phone I should get.

    I will go with IPhone 5s, I don’t like plastic case. Also it depends on your hobbies, both are the same OS.
