As mobile devices have become an integral part of our lives, keeping our smartphones fully charged has become essential. iPhones, in particular, are known for their impressive battery life, but only when they are charged properly. Charging your iPhone correctly can extend the life of your battery, optimize its performance, and save you money in the long run. In this post, we will discuss why it is crucial to charge your iPhone the right way.

Preserve Battery Health

One of the most significant reasons to charge your iPhone correctly is to preserve the health of your battery. Apple’s lithium-ion batteries are designed to hold up to 80% of their original capacity for up to 500 complete charge cycles. However, if you overcharge or undercharge your iPhone, it can negatively impact your battery’s lifespan.

Overcharging your iPhone can lead to “trickle charging,” where the battery stays at 100% for extended periods. This can result in the battery becoming hot, which can cause permanent damage to the battery’s capacity. Similarly, undercharging your iPhone can lead to incomplete charging cycles, which can also affect the battery’s health over time.

To preserve the battery health of your iPhone, it is recommended to charge it between 20% to 80% instead of letting it charge to 100%. You can also use the low power mode on your iPhone to extend your battery life by reducing the background activity and screen brightness.

Optimize Performance

Charging your iPhone correctly can also optimize its performance. If you frequently charge your iPhone to 100%, it can affect the battery’s ability to retain a charge, which can result in shorter battery life over time. In contrast, charging your iPhone between 20% to 80% can help your battery retain its maximum capacity.

Another way to optimize your iPhone’s performance is by avoiding fast charging. Fast charging is a convenient feature that can quickly charge your iPhone, but it generates heat, which can cause damage to the battery’s capacity over time. Instead, use the standard charger that came with your iPhone or invest in a high-quality charger that is compatible with your device.

Save Money

Properly charging your iPhone can also save you money in the long run. If you neglect to charge your iPhone correctly, it can lead to premature battery wear, which can result in costly battery replacements. Replacing an iPhone battery can cost upwards of $70, and it is an expense that can be avoided with proper charging habits.

Additionally, charging your iPhone correctly can save you money on your energy bill. Overcharging your iPhone can lead to higher energy consumption, which can result in a more significant electricity bill. By charging your iPhone correctly, you can reduce energy consumption and save money on your electricity bill.

Prevent Accidents

Charging your iPhone incorrectly can also lead to accidents. Leaving your iPhone to charge overnight or for extended periods can cause the battery to overheat, which can result in a fire hazard. It is essential to monitor your iPhone while it charges and avoid charging it on soft surfaces or near flammable materials.

Additionally, using third-party chargers or cables can also be dangerous. Low-quality chargers and cables can damage your iPhone’s battery or even cause a fire hazard. It is recommended to use the charger and cable that came with your iPhone or invest in a high-quality charger that is compatible with your device.

Convenience

Lastly, charging your iPhone correctly can also be convenient. By keeping your iPhone charged between 20% to 80%, you can avoid frequent charging and ensure that your device is always ready when you need it. Additionally, optimizing your iPhone’s battery life can save you time and hassle in the long run.

Conclusion

In conclusion, charging your iPhone correctly is crucial for preserving the battery life and ensuring optimal performance. By following the tips mentioned above, you can extend the life of your iPhone’s battery and avoid unnecessary replacements or repairs.

It’s also important to note that not all charging methods are created equal. Using a non-certified or counterfeit charging cable or adapter can damage your iPhone’s battery or even cause a fire hazard. Always use the original Apple charger and cable that came with your iPhone, or purchase certified third-party options.

In today’s technological age, owning a smartphone can help us accomplish various tasks, including taking artistic photos. However, to create beautiful and impressive photos, we need to know how to use our smartphones intelligently and skillfully. Below are 5 steps to take great artistic photos with your smartphone and help you create beautiful and impressive photos.

Step 1: Determine the main subject, whether it is a person or an object, and come up with photo ideas.

Before taking photos, you need to clearly determine the main subject you want to capture. You can come up with photo ideas or rely on your perception and creativity to find suitable subjects. If you’re taking photos of people, give them instructions on how to stand or sit to create a beautiful photo.

Step 2: Choose the right position and distance from the subject.

After identifying the subject, you need to choose the right position to take photos. This position can be from above, below, or at a different angle. The distance from the subject is also important. If you are too close, it will affect the background and surrounding space, if you are too far away, it will make the subject unclear and lose authenticity.

Step 3: Take light and adjust the layout.

Lighting is an important factor in creating a beautiful photo. You can use natural light or artificial light to create a beautiful photo. In addition, you also need to adjust the layout to create a balanced and attractive photo. The layout includes elements such as the main subject, background, color, and brightness of the photo. You can use the golden ratio principle to create a balanced and harmonious layout.

Step 4: Take multiple shots.

After preparing all the necessary elements, you can start taking photos. However, to ensure that you get the best photo, take multiple shots. This will give you more options to choose the best photo and make adjustments and modifications as needed.

Step 5: Edit the photo afterwards.

After you have taken your best photo, you can use post-editing tools to enhance brightness, contrast, crop photos and change colors. However, you also need to use these tools intelligently to not lose the beauty of the photo. In addition to basic editing tools, there are more advanced ones like selective color adjustments, layer masks, and clone tools that can be used to fix any blemishes or distracting elements in the photo. However, it’s important to use these tools carefully and sparingly, as over-editing can result in an unnatural and artificial-looking image.

When it comes to sharing your photos, there are numerous online platforms and social media networks that can be used to showcase your work. It’s important to choose the right platform based on your intended audience and goals. For example, if you want to share your photos with friends and family, social media platforms like Facebook or Instagram may be a good option. On the other hand, if you want to connect with other photographers and potential clients, photo sharing sites like Flickr or 500px may be a better fit.

Ultimately, taking great photos and sharing them with the world is a wonderful way to express your creativity and share your perspective with others. By using the right equipment, techniques, and tools, you can capture stunning images that inspire and captivate your audience.

There is this need and comfort to be with their smart phones everywhere they go that people forget the smart phones are computers. Thy have become targets for those with criminal intent such as internet fraudsters because securing them is often ignored.

Mobile phones have become the means to transact payments online for daily chores like shopping. This leaves you vulnerable to online attacks. Statistics show that about one in three phone users have been hit by cyber criminals. In order to protect your data while using your smart phone, consider taking the following steps:

1. Addition of a password to your smart phone

About twenty-five percent of all mobile phones end up being stolen. It is, therefore, good to add a password to protect the data. It might feel like a hassle typing a number every time you need to use the phone. However, the pain of losing the phone with no password protection is much higher.

2. Use powerful passwords to secure the phone

The need for passwords on your smart phone is that it ought to be difficult to guess or crack. Owners have been known to use the same password for many sites. People also use passwords that are so easy to remember which means easy to guess. Do not use your mother’s maiden name, for example, since it will be so easy to figure out once a cyber criminal has your family tree.

3. Procure a professional “find my phone software”

There is special software available that enables you track and find your phone when you lose it. This makes it easy for someone to find you when they locate it. The software often comes with an option to lock and wipe clean your lost smart phone remotely should this be necessary.

4. Always use https rather than http in the URL

Https connotes an additional layer of security for the particular site you are browsing. Make use of it especially when you intend to exchange private data, such as credit card numbers, when shopping online.

5. Stop automatic connection feature on your smart phone

Most mobile phones have default features that automatically connect to any Bluetooth devices and Wi-Fi networks available. Once you disable this option, you are securing your phone from a connection and transmission of data without you realizing it or your permission.

6. You need to buy protective software

Crime against mobile phones is on the increase. Symantec claims that there was a fifty-eight percent increase in malicious software and malware targeting smart phones in 2013 alone. Malware steals your personal information and also damages your smart phone. To secure your phone, you have to buy a good anti-virus package. There is no other way around this danger.

7. Treat social media requests with suspicion

Cyber criminals often send friend requests to strangers to collect information about them. Many often reject these requests but should you habitually accept, then it is a matter of time before you become a prime target. A famous example online is a criminal impersonating your bank, favorite mall shop or restaurant asking for your credit card or bank account number. This is apparently in order to facilitate a refund for an alleged over-charge. Contact these enterprises directly always. That way, you and your smart phone remain secure.

8. Shop with savoir-faire using your smart phone

Any retailer or business vendor who initiates contact through your smart phone email, text message or even social media website should be treated with utmost care. This is especially where it comes to vendors you are not familiar with. It is not bad to shop using the phone either by retail app or browser but you have to ensure you are dealing with legitimate vendors. Run a search on the vendor before transacting, concentrating on complaints against the vendor.

Again, some vendors and their apps ask for too much information about you. Requests for location, permission to access your other apps or even your passwords should be triggers that you are about to defrauded. Avoid such vendors like the plague.

9. Be wary of the parcel tracing scam

Should you happen to make regular parcel orders using your smart phone, do not be surprised to get an email from an apparent big retailer on a parcel they fail to send. A closer look might reveal the email is different from the domain of the retailer. This fraud works by obtaining personal information from you when you click on a given fraudulent link. Do not attempt to clink on it but go to the main retailer and find out the real position.

Finally and in conclusion

The biggest problem when it comes to securing your smart phone is that they have become a very useful appendage to our daily lives. A huge influx of people has boarded the mobile phone environment including engaging in high-end and complex transactions. This is an unstoppable development, however, ensure you heed the security gurus’ advice and secure your smart phone.

Apple has officially introduced two new iPhone is iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus with diameters of 4.7 “and 5.5”. Both have the same design and the same as what leaked. The first impression is the slim design of the iPhone 6 and 7.1 mm 6,9mm the iPhone 6 Plus. On the screen, two new devices that Apple screen called Retina HD resolution and a higher pixel density than the iPhone Retina display. Two products are also used for the first time using the new A8 processor more powerful than Apple’s processor 50 times the first iPhone and graphics processor 84 times better. The memory of the two machines are put up to 128GB and prices do not change as usual.

Display and Design

iPhone 6 screen size of 4.7 “with a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels for a pixel density of 326ppi. And iPhone 6 Plus display 5.5” with a resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixel density up to 401ppi pixel. Apple still uses IPS LCD panel with a pixel density and thus the new iPhone does not really stand out compared to the high-profile Android.

We can see the edge of the screen 4 new iPhone are rounded, honed meticulously and seamlessly into circular frame of the machine. This design can relate to the Lumia.

In iPhone 6 Plus with large screen 5.5 “, we have more horizontal swivel interface, optimized content displayed horizontally. Suppose you visit the Mail app, a list will be email, a party will be part of the content displayed, similar to the tablet.

Camera

Apple did not upgrade the resolution 8MP camera which only changed components to provide better shock. We have the size of the pixels on the sensor is completely new and 1,5μm gate open at F2.2, compared with the previous iPhone 5s 1,4μm and F2.4 aperture. This suggests that the absorption of the light sensor would be better. This sensor also possesses features that Apple AF phase called Focus Pixels, provide the ability to identify the subject distance and better context, whereby the ability to focus will be improved.

Camera Plus iPhone 6 will bulge out of the plane because it must integrate a system of optical image stabilization a new generation. Normally OIS feature on the phone line current cluster lens only move horizontally, Apple also incorporates image stabilization capabilities vertically, always the optimal focus with Focus Pixels.

After installing the software, click Tools -> Manage AVDs -> New, choose an Android device like the Nexus S and Android versions to try. Click OK to finish and you will have all of the Android operating system so feel free to experiment.

Although this software is not effective operation by 2 software but it is also a good software to use. Remember, Android is an operating system for smartphones, so whether integrated on PC will also encounter certain obstacles, especially for those without a computer touchscreen.

iOS is the operating system behind the interface of your iPhones, iPod touches and iPads. It is the single most efficient competitor to Google’s open source mobile operating system Android and it has become very popular among Apple fans. It also features one of the most extensive mobile application stores, as the App Store features more than 1.2 million iOS applications, around half of which are optimized for the iPad.

The iOS was originally developed as “the iPhone Operating System”, but has since been redesigned and improved to effectively operate as the single operating system of the whole Apple product line that has internet or mobile applications in it.
The most common variation of the iOS is the iOS X, which is the desktop version of the mobile operating system and is currently used in the latest generation of the Mac computers. The X denotes the Roman numeral ten and indicates the current version of the operating system.

As mentioned before, the iOS is the single most popular and efficient competitor for Android, as the Symbian has been shut down by Microsoft and their own Windows Mobile operating system is just not good enough (well played Microsoft, well played). In the desktop operating system market however, Microsoft has managed to become and stay on top as the most popular operating system with their product, Microsoft Windows. It is the standard operating system in the PC market, but the iOS X has a strong following due to the success of the Mac computers in the recent years. Linux has also improved its existence as an operating system, mostly due to it being free and full customization to your needs.

Apple advertises iOS as an easy to use and secure interface, which is true in its own sense, but it also lacks the customization that Android grants its users. In the more recent years Apple has gathered such a wide following and loyal fan base that the only Android OS manufacturer who has been able to create a product line that amasses such following as the iPhones is Samsung. They have managed to lure the customers to their Galaxy line of mobile devices and got them hooked on the quality and wide amount of features. They have also implemented their own version of the Android user system, which is what differentiates the iOS and Apple from Android and the manufacturers using it as the operating system in their devices.
All in all the iOS is simply put a highly sophisticated operating system for Apple phones, Tablets, the iPod touch and their Mac computers.

Well I don’t know. Does it look like a biscuit? Does it crumble a little on the edges and leave a trail wherever you go? It does? Well then this is easy, you are holding a cookie. Don’t stuff that in your phone, thank you kindly.

For those of you who actually are able to differentiate a SIM card from a biscuit, good for you. These days there are many different variations of the traditional credit card sized SIM card. In today’s world of ever yet smaller and slimmer mobile phones, the SIM cards were forced to evolve into something smaller and slimmer as well, and they have.

The “Subscriber Identity Module”, the SIM card to its friends, is a piece of technology that identifies you as the caller or the sender, depending on if you are making a call or sending a text. The standard size of a credit card used to be the standard when phones were the size of your PC monitor. These days they are a lot smaller and fit into that nice and small phone of yours.

Now as you can see, there has been a lot of progress in making the SIM cards smaller and more capable over the years, and with the latest invention of the Nano-SIM card, even the thickness has been reduced. Now back to the original question regarding the type of SIM card you currently possess. As you can see, with the modern phones on the market, the Full-size SIM card is pretty much obsolete, and thus we can rule that one out. Now, the question is whether or not you have a phone from after the year 2003 or not, because 2003 is the year when the Micro-SIM card was invented and thus having a mobile phone from the year 2003 or later indicates the choice between the two most commonly used ones: the Micro-SIM and the Nano-SIM. The difference between these two is not that obvious to the human eye, but it is still easy to identify the type of the SIM card. For one thing, you could just simply measure it.

The Nano-SIM card was brought out to the public and went into distribution by the mobile phone operators in 2012, so again, if you own a phone from the year 2012 or later it is highly likely that you have a Nano-SIM card inside your phone.

The Embedded-SIM card has not quite struck out as a success in the mobile phone markets, as then you could not change the carrier you pay for your calls quite as easily as swap in swap out the SIM cards. It does however provide a higher security level, as there is no easy way to remove the SIM card and thus your contacts are safe within the mobile phone.

When Apple introduced the new iPad Air there were a lot of criticism for the idea. Why? Because if it really features the same 9.7 inch display yet it is lighter, thinner and more durable than the previous iPad generations, there must be some major flaws in it. There were comments on the build quality, horror stories how the new iPad can be broken in two like a biscuit and the worst of them all: The fear for lack of new beautiful features. Because something that light and small cannot have better features than the slightly bigger and a lot heavier iPad 4 for example. Wrong. Welcome to the 21st century oh ye of little faith, Apple has done it again.

The new iPad is both sleek and beautiful in design, with features like the feathery weight of only 469 grams on the Wi-Fi version (4G version weighs 478g) and an unbroken line of beautiful aluminum finish. Well, almost unbroken, there’s the good old 3,5mm jack right in the middle of that euphoria of sleekness and beauty.

The one fear that came with the now 7,5mm thick generation five iPad, was that if it really is that thin, then how on earth does it not bend? You should be able to split it like a cracker. But, here is where Apple excels. Instead of aiming for those best and brightest techy specs, Apple appreciates the user experience the most. Let’s face it, Apple is a legend when it comes to designing (rather costly) user friendly devices that will do their job technically and amaze you visually. Nevertheless, it should be impossible to create something that weighs merely just over a pound and is only 7,5mm thick, and would not bend. The flex might have been the worst headache apple designers gave the engineers as a Christmas present a while ago, but the engineers pulled through. It just simply doesn’t flex. Go on, try and bend your iPad, I dare you. Now if you managed to break it in half, congratulations, that is one way to spend the five hundred bucks you probably spent for the Wi-Fi model. But I did not mean for you to start hammering it against a wall or reverse over it with a car. I simply meant to try and flex it a little with your hands. Now those of you who understood what I meant, it is nearly unbendable, isn’t it? Well of course it is.

There is only one downside to the design and build aspect of the iPad, and it is the fact that the back of the iPad along with the sides will scratch very easily. Probably looking at them with menace in your eyes is enough to scratch the surface. Oh, and one more thing. Why is there not a fingerprint scanner on the thing? iPhone 5 has it, why not the iPad?

In conclusion the latest iPad does live up to the expectations and brings a more lighter, more beautiful and easy to use device to every home (who can afford it) on the planet. I’m very happy with it, and so should you.
